Psychological Evaluations

Start on the path to something better today.

Psychological evaluations can be helpful for various reasons. They are a way of testing personality, behavior, and capabilities. Psychological evaluations can provide information about an individual that is helpful for them and others in the individual’s life. Parents, doctors, teachers, social workers and mental health professionals can be better able to support and help the individual improve functioning.

Psychological Testing and evaluations can help with:

  • Assisting in clarifying mental health diagnoses
  • Helping to identify autism spectrum disorders
  • Helping in assessing academic ability and rule out a learning disorder
  • Providing insight and understanding of strengths and weaknesses
  • Providing information for individuals to share when applying for social security
  • Assessing memory concerns
  • Helping to identify developmental delays
  • Helping with identifying cognitive concerns and establishing baseline abilities
  • Useful in assessing the level of focus and attention issues, and identifying or ruling out ADHD
  • Assisting in guiding treatment plan goals and leading to recommending appropriate services
