Val McGann received her Master of Arts Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School and is licensed through the state of Minnesota as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the College of Saint Benedict. Val has provided mental health services in various settings including school-based therapy, in-home therapy, group counseling, and outpatient services. Val is trained in providing evidence-based treatments for children and youth, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She enjoys working with individuals, children, adolescents and families. She utilizes a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy, often highlighting the client’s own strengths, skills and growth. Val is passionate about helping clients embrace their unique experiences, while encouraging and empowering them towards their own healing and success on their journey through life. Val is bi-lingual and can provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
