Steven Kaspari Baker is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota who has been practicing since 2018. He has a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from North Dakota State University. Steven is here to support you, working to broaden perspectives and highlight strengths as a means of making positive and lasting change. He uses a reflective, solution-focused lens in therapy to explore challenges and join you in working toward your goals. Steven believes gaining insight into the connections among thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and environments is an essential tool for making change. He is excited to be along for the ride with you! Beyond his time in private practice, Steven has worked in community mental health settings providing psychotherapy and skills support to people across the Minneapolis-St Paul metro. He has enjoyed working with people of all ages as they take steps toward their goals in and outside of the therapy room. Steven previously interned with Be the Match – National Marrow Donor Program, where he provided psychosocial support to caregivers and individuals undergoing bone marrow transplants. Outside of work, Steven enjoys cooking, spending time with family, playing with his dogs (golden retrievers Cal and Humphrey), going to Minneapolis-St Paul’s many amazing restaurants, traveling with friends, long weekends at cabins, reading, and hiking Northern Minnesota.
