Sierra Ford-Washington is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker in Minnesota who has been practicing since 2023. She earned her bachelors at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her masters at the University of St Thomas. Sierra works with individuals and their families to identify and work through barriers currently affecting functioning. She has 3 years of experience working with children, young adults, and the elderly population in community based, school based, in home, and private practice settings. Her outlook on therapy is to meet the client where they are at, actively listen and best assess client needs for their best overall functioning. Sierra uniquely offers diverse perspective and active listening from a non-judgmental sense that best fits the client’s needs. Outside of work, Sierra enjoys spending times with family and friends doing activities like going to concerts, hiking, swimming, going on hikes/bike rides, and going to new restaurants. Spending time alone is also a big interest of hers as it allows her to have some quiet time to enjoy working out, doing puzzles and crosswords, reading books and listening to music.
