Lindsey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Colorado State University in 2010. She also holds a research doctorate in Applied Developmental Science from Colorado State University. In addition to her work at Family Innovations, Lindsey is an Assistant Professor in the Couple and Family Therapy doctoral program at the University of Minnesota. Lindsey brings a strength-based, solution-focused perspective to working with adolescents, couples, families, and individuals on a wide range of clinical issues. She also specializes in working with trauma-exposed families and is trained in Domestic Violence Focused Couples Treatment and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
