Katherine received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota. She enjoys working with youth, adults, couples, and families and has experience in various contexts including community-based and out patient settings. She believes in a holistic approach to mental health and is committed to helping clients achieve their personal goals through evidence-based and strength-based approaches. Katherine is a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for working with couples, and is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Katherine also is trained in the special treatment of insomnia-related issues and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
