James earned his Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and is licensed in the state of Minnesota as a Professional Clinical Counselor.

James enjoys working with children, youth, adults, and their families, and providing individual and family interventions to address a variety of needs.  James emphasizes a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach to therapy, and focuses on meeting his clients where they are, and supporting change through collaboration and affirmation.
