BJ received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in 2008, and in 2011 he was awarded a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School. He also holds a certificate in Couple and Family Systems from Capella University. BJ has over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of professional settings including as a youth pastor and as an outpatient therapist. He has worked with issues of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, sexual identity, anger, grief, relationship difficulties, and spirituality.
