Anna is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology at Saint Mary’s University and will be working under the supervision of Dr. N. Ward. Anna provides diagnostic and psychological assessments, cognitive and social-emotional testing, individual and family therapy, and psycho-education to children, adolescents, adults and families. Anna is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows her to provide services to children and adolescents struggling in the aftermath of trauma. Anna’s additional clinical interests include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting, and multicultural issues. Anna is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, and as an immigrant herself enjoys working with diverse populations.
As a therapist, Anna empowers her clients by using a variety of strategies and interventions, depending on what clients need. She considers multiple factors that may be impacting her a person’s mental health and is able to adjust her treatment approach to assist her clients in reaching their goals. She provides therapy to clients from age ten to adulthood.
Anna received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and attended classes at Alfred Adler Graduate School towards the Marriage and Family Therapylicense. She worked as an in-home practitioner, outpatient therapist, and a supervisor for an Adult Mental Health program and brings over 10 years of experience to her work. Anna is also an Approved Supervisor of the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. She is currently completing her final year of the doctoral degree in psychology. Anna provides evaluations across the full age spectrum, from birth to adulthood. She conducts psychological evaluations to assess for mood, anxiety, trauma related disorders, behavioral disorders, baseline cognitive functioning, personality functioning, ADHD, and developmental trajectory. These evaluations are completed through cognitive, objective, and projective testing.
