Amanda obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Saint Mary’s University, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor through the state of Minnesota. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults in an individual or family setting. Amanda has experience providing mental health services to individuals and families in many settings including community, school, home, group, and outpatient services. She utilizes a collaborative therapeutic approach that emphasizes strengths-based, cognitive behavioral, experiential, and mindfulness-based techniques. She is also trained in providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma in Schools (CBITS).
